It is listed among the seven wonders of the world, which was made by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his most beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. The white marble structure of Taj Mahal fascinates everyone with its excellent architecture. It is also one of the most visited monuments of India.

Agra Fort: Agra Fort is another major tourist spot in Agra, which is quite similar in layout to the Red Fort in Delhi. It was constructed by Emperor Akbar between 1565 AD to 1571 AD. It is built of fine quality red stone, hence it is also known as Red Fort. The fort exhibits the typical Mughal style of architecture.

Fatehpur Sikri:

Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri around 35 km away from Agra and shifted his capital there. The exquisite gateways and magnificent palaces, built-in red sandstone steal everyone's heart. The palaces made for queens, Diwan-e-Khas, 5 storied airy Panch Mahal are pretty impressive.

Sikandara: Sikandara, also called as Akbar's Tomb is the last resting place of Akbar, which shows the lavishness and completeness of his personality. Set amidst a lush green garden, it is beautifully adorned with red-ochre sandstone tomb with deer, rabits and delicate carvings.

Ram Bagh: Ram Bagh is the oldest Mughal garden of India, built by Babar in 1528 AD. Perched on the bank of river Yamuna, the garden is designed in such a way that the wind coming from Yamuna keep the place cool even in summers.

Mankameshwar Temple: It is one of the oldest temples of Agra city, dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva. The Shiva Linga inside the temple is covered with a silver metal, which is supposed to be founded by Lord Shiva himself during Dwapara era.
